A $90 pet fee applies at the time of booking.
It is the responsibility of the renter to bring everything their pet may need for the journey. Some suggestions include:
- Pet crates, seat belts, leads, and harnesses – Pet owners are responsible for providing their own pet car seat harnesses, leads, seat belts, or carriers. Your pet must be securely confined or always restrained while inside the rental vehicle to prevent injury or accidents to the vehicle occupants.
- Blankets – If your pet sheds heavily, we recommend bringing blankets with you to make cleaning the vehicle interior easier. Blankets can also protect the upholstery from damage and keep your pet comfortable. The renter must return the rental vehicle in a clean condition to avoid any additional cleaning and detailing fees.
- Drink and treats – To ensure your pet stays hydrated and content during your travels remember to pack their favorite water bottle or bowl, along with some treats to keep them calm and happy for a pleasant journey.
- Toys – You may want to consider bringing some of your pet’s favorite toys and comfort items to help them feel more at easy during the journey.
Please be advised that pet owners are solely responsible for ensuring the wellbeing and safety of their pets. Renters and drivers must adhere to the rules and laws governed by each Australian state concerning traveling with pets to avoid death, injuries, accidents, or fines.
